The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Ali Alizada had a meeting with the Chief of the Naval Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah.
During the meeting, cordial friendship and strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan were underscored, and there took place exchange of views with regard to the continuation of military-technical cooperation, regular participation in exhibitions and trainings held, exchange of experience and organization of mutual visits. Moreover, it was stressed that the firm support that the two countries provide each other with is highly appreciated: “Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and the issue of Kashmir have to be resolved immediately as per the requirements of international law and on the basis of the resolutions adopted by the United Nations Security Council.”
Chief of the Naval Staff of Pakistan, Admiral Mohammad Zakaullah noted that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan have deep historic, religious and cultural roots and it is very important to improve relations between the two countries, as weel as, the cooperation between the navies and to continue joint activities for further progress in this regard. He called back his visit to Azerbaijan and said that he was deply impressed by the development of the country and especially, by the beauty of Baku.
